This application provides a third-party interface to browse Reddit content. We are not affiliated with Reddit Inc. The app allows users to view posts, comments, and media from Reddit communities.

3. User Conduct

You agree to use the application in compliance with all applicable laws and Reddit's own Terms of Service. You will not use this app to:

• Violate any laws or regulations

• Harass, abuse, or harm others

• Spread misinformation or harmful content

• Attempt to circumvent Reddit's API limitations

• Engage in any activity that disrupts the service

4. Reddit Content

All Reddit content accessed through this app remains the property of its respective owners. We do not claim ownership of any content you view through this application. Content is fetched directly from Reddit's API and reflects Reddit's current state. Any content removed from Reddit will no longer appear in this app.

5. Content Removal & Reporting

We comply with Reddit's content policies and removal requests. If you encounter content that violates Reddit's rules:

• Use the "Report Content" option in the app

• Reports are escalated directly to Reddit

• Content removed by Reddit will no longer display

Note: Since we don't host content, copyright issues should be reported directly to Reddit.

In no event shall we be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of this application.

10. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to update these terms at any time. Continued use of the application after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.

4. What Reddit Can See

Since Artemis uses Reddit's API to function, Reddit can see:

• Content you request to view

Reddit may use this information according to their own Privacy Policy. By using Artemis, you're also subject to Reddit's terms and privacy policies.

5. Security

We protect your data using:

• Encrypted local storage on your device

• Secure HTTPS connections to Reddit

• No data transmission to our servers

6. Third-Party Services

This app interacts with the following third-party services:

• Reddit API for content access

• App Store/Google Play for app distribution

Crash Reporting (Sentry)

We use Sentry solely to improve app stability. This collects:

• Device information (model, OS version)

• App version and crash logs

• Which screen the crash occurred on

• Anonymous usage patterns to fix bugs

No personal information is included in crash reports.
You can disable this: Settings → Privacy → Allow Error Reporting

7. No Data Collection

We do not collect, store, or have access to any of your personal information. All data stays on your device. Reddit content is fetched directly from Reddit's servers and is not stored by our app.

8. Children's Privacy

This application is not intended for children under 13 years of age.

9. Your Control

You have complete control over your data:

• View and manage stored data through app settings

• Clear all app data in settings

• Delete everything by uninstalling the app

11. Data Retention

Data is kept only as long as necessary:

• Local app data: Until you delete the app

• Crash reports (Sentry): 90 days

Reddit content is never stored - it's fetched fresh each time you use the app.

12. Legal Basis for Processing

We process data based on:

• Contract: To provide the service you requested

• Legitimate Interest: To improve app stability and fix bugs

• Legal Obligation: To comply with laws and legal requests

13. Complete Data Deletion

Want to delete everything? It's simple:

1. Go to Settings → Privacy → Clear All Data

2. Delete the app (removes everything else)

That's it. No data remains anywhere.

14. Changes to Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by updating the "Last updated" date at the top of this policy.
